Design Terms
Everything below applies when we design your artwork for you. It covers what the fee includes, what happens if the work grows past it, and what you walk away with.
What the design fee includes
The design fee covers the initial design and one revision, and it ends with print-ready files for your product.
We work from what you give us: your direction, your logo, your photos, and any brand guidelines you want followed. The more specific you are at the start, the closer the first design lands, and the less likely you are to need anything beyond what the fee covers.
Two ways to order
With your wrap. Select Design It For Me in the artwork options when you place your order. We start your design once the order goes through.
Before your wrap. Order a design on its own if you want to see artwork before committing to a print order. If you decide to order a product later, the fee carries over with no expiration. Come back next month or next year, upload the files we made, and select Upload My Own Artwork so you are never charged for design twice.
What counts as a revision
One revision is included. A revision means adjusting the design we delivered: updating text, swapping a logo, repositioning elements, changing a color, or a similar minor change.
These are not revisions. They are new design work, and we quote them before starting:
- A new concept, or a change in direction after we deliver the first design
- Redrawing or recreating artwork you supplied
- Starting a new layout from scratch
Additional design work
Anything past the included revision is billed at $85 per hour.
We do not start billable work without telling you first. We look at what is needed, send you an estimate of the hours, and wait for your approval. Payment is due at the time of service, and every estimate includes one reasonable revision of the new work.
Artwork you supply
- Logos in vector format. If you do not have one, we can redraw it for a fee, quoted before we start.
- Photos at 250 DPI or better at full scale.
- Copyrighted and trademarked material we cannot use without written authorization from the owner. If your idea depends on protected material, tell us what you are after and we will build something original in the same spirit.
- AI-generated concepts are fine as a starting point. The files themselves usually need cleanup or rebuilding before they will print, and we quote that before starting.
Proofs and approval
We send a PDF proof within 24 to 48 hours of receiving everything we need. Nothing goes to production until you approve it. Once you do, production runs 3 to 5 days.
The files you receive
When your project is complete and paid for, we hand over the finished print-ready artwork.
Our production templates, layouts, and cut files are not included. Those came out of extensive testing with the hardware manufacturers, they are what guarantees your wrap fits, and they stay with us.
Ownership and use
Get Branded retains ownership of the designs we create. Along with your files, you receive a non-exclusive license to use your design.
That license does not expire and there is nothing to renew. Use the design on your wrap, on other products you order from us, and across your own marketing and signage.
If you would rather own the design outright, we sell full rights for four times the design fee. You can buy them at any point, during the project or long after it.
Using your design on more than one product
Your license covers as many products as you want to put the design on. Order a second wrap, a different machine, a set of decals. Tell us which product and we will set your artwork up on the correct template for it.
Payment
Design fees are paid before design work begins and are non-refundable. The fee pays for design time, and that time is spent whether or not you go on to order a wrap.
Additional design work is paid at the time of service. Print orders are billed separately.
