How do I install my wrap?
Outdoor wrap installation is relatively easy in moderate temperatures and low wind environments. Read all steps and tips below.
NEVER APPLY TO A WET SURFACE. DRY INSTALL ONLY.
Materials Needed:
An alcohol solution (either 50/50 water-alcohol, denatured alcohol, or rubbing alcohol) and microfiber cloths
STEPS: Watch the video tutorial here.
Prepare the Surface for Installation
1. Remove any caulk from the metal surface, as adhesive will not stick to caulk.
2. Clean the area thoroughly with rubbing or denatured alcohol using a microfiber cloth.
3. To avoid a residue that will prevent the wrap from adhering to your surface, do not use household cleaning products. Especially avoid products that contain ammonia or degreasers.
Installation
1. Begin with the back panel, if your wrap has a back, and peel 5”- 6” of liner down from the top edge of the wrap panel. Add a crease in the liner to keep it away from the adhesive.
2. Align the wrap at the top edge of the back panel, making sure it is straight.
3. Press along the top edge of the wrap, securing it in place. Readjust the alignment, if needed, before continuing.
4. Press across and downward, making sure to work out any air bubbles, as you go. Reposition and make adjustments as needed. (The back panel wrap may have small sections that extend around corners to the side panels.)
5. Pull away manageable sections of the liner as you go. Do not remove large sections, as the adhesive may stick to unintended materials and surfaces.
6. After smoothing the wrap across and down the panel, firmly press all edges again for security.
7. Repeat the process for all sides.
PRO TIPS:
- Install in a dry environment. Do not use a wet application method.
- Install when temperatures are between 40 - 80 degrees F
- Do not apply in direct sunlight
- Avoid wind speeds over 10mph
- It is recommended to have a box cutter or knife available, in the event you need to trim details around machine cut-outs.
When do I use a wet application method?

How do I place an order?
Custom orders are easy at GetBranded. Place your order through any product page. High quantity orders may require more time, in which case we will contact you about production times and options for shipping in stages as the products are completed.

Most decals have options for quantity discounts. See the individual product page for details.

Graphic Design
What logo and graphics file types can you use for my order?
- Use one of the following file types: InDesign CC, Vector EPS, or Adobe Illustrator
- Preferred logo format: Vector
If you have a lower resolution raster file, we can reproduce your file in the vector format needed for printing. Learn more about vectorization here.
Tips for uploading artwork files:
- Use one of the following file types: InDesign CC, Vector EPS, or Adobe Illustrator
- Preferred logo format: Vector
- Images: minimum size 300 DPI or PPI, at the size the image will be printed. (For example, an image that will be printed at 20 inches by 20 inches, needs to be that scale in the file.)
- Fonts: Outline all fonts and include all fonts used with the artwork
- Colors: CYMK for printing purposes. If PMS colors are provided, they will be converted to CMYK for print production
- Before production, our team will let you know there are issues with low resolution and if vector art files are needed.
If you have a lower resolution raster file, we can reproduce your file in the vector format needed for printing. Learn more about vectorization here.
Why are vector files needed for large print jobs?
Using a Vector format allows you to create striking images that are scalable with zero loss in quality. With the vector format, you can use the same design file for large projects, including billboards and banners, and small projects like apparel embroidery and business cards.
If you have a raster file that comes from a camera using pixel data, we can reproduce your file in vector and convert the color space to CMYK. Learn more about vectorization here.
What is a raster file?
Raster images typically come from cameras using pixel data. This means that when you zoom in on a Raster image, you can see the pixels, and the image becomes blurry.
If you have a raster file, we can reproduce your file in vector format that is needed for printing. Learn more about vectorization here.
What is the required file size/resolution for my logos and images?
- Preferred logo format: Vector
- Images: minimum size 300 DPI or PPI, at the size the image will be printed. (For example, an image that will be printed at 20 inches by 20 inches, needs to be that scale in the file.)
If you have a lower resolution raster file, we can reproduce your file in the vector format needed for printing. Learn more about vectorization here.
What color formats can be used in my artwork?
- CMYK color builds are preferred for achieving a printed color match.
- RGB will be converted to CMYK for print production, however, the color may not exactly match the RGB color as there is not an exact conversion into CMYK. If you would like an exact color match, provide a CMYK color build. Color proofs are available.
- PMS will be converted to CMYK for print production, however, the color may not exactly match the PMS color. If you would like an exact color match, provide a CMYK color build. Color proofs are available.
- Hex codes are used for digital color builds and can be converted to CMYK, however, the color match is less precise as it must be converted to RGB and then CMYK. A color proof is highly recommended if you are asking for a Hex value.
- Photos of color references and paint color codes are not usable.
Color proofs are available - shipping charges apply.
